NieR Producer Asks Fans What Goodies They Want

With the awesome news regarding the up-coming NieR Concert & Talk Live, Producer Yosuke Saito posted a message on Twitter asking what sort of merchandise fans are interested in purchasing at the show.

ニーアのグッズはみんな何が欲しいんでしょうか。パンフは必要だし、Tシャツとか缶バッチとか？コンサートならではのグッズですかね？

— What sort of NieR merchandise does everyone want? Of course, we need a pamphlet, but something else like T-shirts or pins? We’re talking about merchandise only available at the concert, right?

ニーアのコンサート＆トークライブの物販。残飯と水を鍋に入れて煮た「ヨナのお手製シチュー」と称した屋台とかいいんじゃないかな。一杯９８０円（ゴミみたいなパンを付けると１２００円）。もちろんクソまずい。完食したお兄ちゃん・お父さんには、ご褒美としてもう一杯サービス。

— NieR Concert & Talk Live Merchandise: Would setting up a booth for “Yonah’s Homemade Stew” made from leftovers and water be a good idea? 980yen for one serving (add some putrid-looking bread for 1200yen). Of course, it’s disgusting. As a reward for finishing a single serving, Brother/Father Nier can have another for free.

To this, Yosuke Saito merely responded with “!?”.
Ahhh! Poor Nier… xD

Over the past couple of weeks, Yosuke Saito has shown us actual pics of NieR merch that will be available at the upcoming concert. If you’re bummed out at hearing that news, here’s some more to ponder:

2つ目。ニーアコンサート＆トークライブ会場で販売するグッズですが、会場先行販売という形にして、後に弊社e-STOREで販売できるようにしました。その場合も初回分は有限なので追加生産という形で対応することになるかもしれません。売り切れの可能性もあるので、その点だけはご理解ください。

— Point #2: Official merchandise will first be available at the event, but we plan to also make this available in the e-STORE. Simply, the first batch of goods will be limited until more are made for the store. It is still possible for items to sell out, so we appreciate your understanding.

Due to time constraints, they’re only able to produce a finite number of merch to be ready for the concert. That being said, they’re gambling a lot on these initial sales. If things sell really well at the show, stuff is pretty much guaranteed that items will eventually be available globally via the SQEX e-STORE.

The official concert page has been updated with some additional information related to the NieR merch that will be available.

Official NieR merchandise will be available be for early sales at the event from 2-4pm.
Pamphlets are not available for pre-order.
Even people without a concert ticket may purchase items!! Please understand that the store will close at 4pm. It will reopen again after the event, but you will need to line up from the beginning again.
Please understand that there is a finite number of items available at the event, so we apologize in advance if items are sold out.
Credit card payments are not accepted.
Items will be available at the SQEX e-STORE from Friday, April 22 at noon.
