The preliminary ticket reservations for the YoRHa Ver.1.3a stage play later this summer just wrapped up yesterday, and so the official Web site has been updated with the cast list! So, here’s the first look at the completely NEW cast!

First of all, let me remind you that this is a revisioning of the original YoRHa stage play which depicts the Pearl Harbor Descent Mission on December 8, 11941. It’s this story that we first meet No2… But you will notice a very interesting addition to the cast at the bottom of the list…

And yes! Your eyes are not kidding you! There is a MALE Accord in this rendition of the play! Amazing! I am thoroughly intrigued!

Also, there seems to be only one Operator that works with the Commander on the Bunker. In all the previous versions of the play, there were always two Operators: Futaba and Yotsuba. But this time we only get a single Operator: Wakaba. Also note that all of their names are references to “plant life”. Futaba = sprout (two leaves), Yotsuba = clover (four leaves), Wakaba = young leaf.

The next thing to note is that there are no “Red Girls” in this version of the play but rather a single “Red Boy”. Yes, we will be getting a MALE version of the scary red girls… Again, I am amazed.

One thing I am a little disappointed about is that the cast has gotten yet another reduction from Ver.1.2, this time nixing the character of Marguerite. But more than that, I’m still very, very sad that Kalmia and Clematis are still sadly very much out of the picture. I really loved what Yoko had done with their characters in Ver.1.1…and overall, I still hold that one as the superior version.

But, at least by removing Marguerite, we don’t lose much, especially when we’re adding such a pivotal character like Accord into the mix! I’m very, very excited to see what Yoko will do with that thought…

Not much else is currently known about the stage play at the moment. The show will be running for four days each, both in Tokyo and Osaka.
