To celebrate the release of three comics in just about the span of one month, illustrator Daisuke Moriyama (Chrono Crusade, World Embryo) will appear for a special talk event held at Naked Loft in Shinjuku early on Saturday morning, December 5th. The event will open at midnight Friday night and begin at 12:30am.

• “Kimi Shi ni Tamou Koto Nakare” (Thou Shalt Not Die), Vol.2 – (Amazon, 11/25)
• “Mahoui Neko to Ibara-hime” (The Enchantress’s Kitty)* – (Amazon, 11/26)
  * I don’t believe this title should be romanized as “Mahou Ineko” because the kanji  医 (doctor/specialist/expert) is used as a suffix to 魔法 (magic)–the three kanji are inseparable. Literally translated, it comes to “The Magicologist Cat and Princess Ibara”

The role of MC will be held by Mel Kishida (Heaven’s Memo Pad, Hanasaku Iroha). Two special guests will be Yoko Taro and Yasuhiro Nightow (Trigun, Blood Blockade Battlefront).

Tickets can be pre-ordered for 2,000 yen at Lawson convenience stores through the Loppi system (L-code: 39974), otherwise the admission fee at the door is 2,500 yen (food/drink separate).

December 4th is my last day of school/work until January, so this will make an awesome “YOU SURVIVED ANOTHER TERM!” gift to myself. ^^;;; Since the event won’t finish until early morning, I won’t be able to make it back home to Yokohama, so I’ve also booked a hotel in Shinjuku. I’ll be able to check in whenever I get out of work, and I plan on just hanging out and relaxing until evening. <3

②　Both Mel Kishida and Yoko Taro are from Nagoya, so it will be interesting to see if they’ll bring up anything about their hometown.
