Notes on the DOD3 Story Side Novel

DOD3 Story Side Novel

DOD3 Story Side Novel

These are my notes as I read through the novel. This story depicts the flow of events that links directly with the original DOD1 timeline, which I tend to call DOD3’s “Branch E” storyline.

Please be warned of possible spoilers and foul language. Also please note that I use the original names of some characters over the English rendition.

* I’m sorry these notes have been incomplete for years. I have every intention on finishing them; simply, other things have come up to keep me busy… so this has been a relatively low priority. *sigh*

Submit your Writing!

I’ve been meaning to set up a page for fans to submit their DOD themed writing, and hopefully this is a decent start.

I’ve just set up a form by which you can submit your works. Even so, I have not decided on how I will display and credit everyone’s work, so if you submit some work now, it will be saved for the time when the Library page goes live. I cannot give a tentative date for this, however.

So please feel free to use the form to send in your writing! If you come across any problems in this process, please just let me know. Thanks and enjoy!

Just like the novelized version of DOD1, this book is also written by Eishima Jun and supervised by Yoko Taro, featuring a white stylized illustration of Zero and Mikhail on the cover, illustrated by Fujisaka Kimihiko!

*** This very well may be the specific timeline that directly connects DOD3 with DOD1!!!

Here’s some more information:

When and where were such things like “contracts”, “The Cult of Watchers”, and the “Seal” created? Where did the four Apostles come from, and where are the five Utautai sisters going? Where might it possibly lead, this new branch through time that the Utautai traitor Zero and dragon Mikhail tread upon?
