According to a survey held by the Hackador news application, which provides information pertaining to anime, games, and more, NieR:Automata is among 7 titles that are highly anticipated by fans to be animated at some point in the future.
NieR:Automata is shown in the #1 spot on top right corner of the “2019 Most Anticipated Titles to be Animated” chart shown above. The x axis indicates the monthly average of new watchlist registrations, whereas the y axis indicates the watchlist total number of registrations.
I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing a NieR:Automata themed anime, but…

Two day countdown for the up-coming collaboration with NieR Replicant in SINoALICE, and the official Twitter account posted another teaser video. It’s apparently not yet available on their YouTube channel, so you can only view it from their post on twitter. (I’ll update this post when they upload it to YouTube.)
Here’s a rough translation of the spoken and written lines:
Emil: Massive magical power and a sturdy body.
An imitation human created as a weapon.
Even so, they said there’s meaning in it even for me, that we’re friends.
Or so I was told.
Nier: We would destroy humanity.
