NJ Holdings relinquishes all shares in the video game developer Shade

As reported at the end of April by M&A HACK, it seems like it was reported that NJ Holdings, the company that brought the video game developer Shade under their wing in 2016, has now cut them loose entirely, reverting all of their shares back to Shade and effectively making them an independent developer.

This could have drastic effects as it relates to the road ahead, especially where Penny Blood is involved, but in the current state of the video game industry, although I can only see this as a positive move. If these companies can come together to support each other, I think there could be a mutually positive outcome.

With NJ Holdings relinquishing all shares in the company back to Shade, I am at least somewhat hopeful that something amazing could still come from this.

I was worried about the status of the company since their official website went offline many months ago (maybe close to a year ago?). It also seems like the company URL is currently up for grabs. I’d like to at least nab the URL for folks who might use it later, but it looks like only registered companies are able to claim the “co.jp” suffix, which makes sense… I just don’t want to see some scalper company eat it up and demand an insane amount to reclaim it.

Please forgive me for dreaming that Studio Wildrose/YUKIKAZE and the remnants of Shade can come together and make something entirely new and grow with their own individual strengths. I am only positive from this turn of events, and it makes me want to do MORE from the fan perspective, so if anyone out there sees this, please feel free to get in contact with me!!
